Kriss Wu Accused of Rape Wrongly?

Several months ago, the idol was accused of rape by a certain Du Meizhu. The young woman then claimed that the artist had sexually assaulted several minors. Following these accusations, Kris Wu was imprisoned on July 31, 2021.

However, for the past few days, the hashtag "dumeizhu recording" has been trending on the social network WEIBO.
The hashtag was created after a live stream by LI EN and MEIZHU's two friends who supported her during the rape accusations.

During the live stream, the two Chinese women claimed that MEIZHU received 20 million yuan from an organization to accuse KRISS WU.
To prove their claims, the two girls shared an audio conversation they had with the accuser.

The next day, Meizhu denied the accusations. She admitted that it was indeed her voice in the clip but that it had been faked and manipulated. However, LI EN quickly refuted MEIZHU's statements during another live stream in which she showed the recording coming directly from the phone, thus without any edits. The recording would date from July 12, 2021, two weeks before KRISS WU's arrest.

Another detail that seems to confirm the setup is the police report of KRISS WU's arrests. It notes that the idol's arrest was not due to a complaint filed by MEIZHU or the supposed other victims but followed mass emails received. These were copy-pasted from the Douban forum, all demanding KRISS WU's arrest. 

Meanwhile, all videos of MEIZHU's audio recording are gradually being deleted, as if someone is trying to cover up the matter.
