ITZY is a South Korean 5-member female group (Yuna, Ryujin, Yeji, Chaeryeong, and Lia). The K-pop group belongs to the JYP Entertainment label and debuted on February 11, 2019, with the song "Dalla Dalla". The name of their fandom is Midzy.
In 2019, they were separately warned to arrive earlier for training because their manager had something to tell them. The next day when they went to the studio, they thought they had bad news, so they were very surprised when they were told they were going to debut as a group.
They only debuted in 2019, yet today they are worldwide known. Indeed, they managed to gain popularity very quickly. Even before being known as much as a group, some members were already known for participating in several projects and shows.
They have already won more than a dozen awards and their songs have been in the top 10 of the most listened to tracks, notably "Wannabe" which became viral on TikTok thanks to the choreography. Their song "Loco" was also highly praised by critics.
