Career :

Beomgyu is the fifth TXT member to be revealed. At 18, he sits in the middle of the group, between the two older members ( Yeonjun and Soobin ) and the two younger ones (Huening Kai and Taehyun). He is said to bring a "bright and energetic appearance" to the group.

History, Relationships and Character

He has two older brothers and is the owner of a parrot named "TOTO". Beomgyu hails from Daegu , as do fellow bandmates BTS members Kim Taehyung (V) and Min Yoongi (Suga). He can also play the guitar and used this talent during his audition for Big Hit .

The young musician also revealed that he had been selected by Big Hit but when they asked him to come to Seoul for an audition , he told them that he couldn't because of his exams. So they arranged to go to Daegu instead for his audition and the rest is history!

Beomgyu was a Big Hit trainee for the shortest time, as he only worked for the company two years before the group's debut TXT . He also said that when he bumps into a BTS member at Big Hit, he gets too nervous to say anything and his heart shakes.

He has stated that he can easily make friends as he likes to feel love and affection . He also likes to joke around, especially when the other members are recording videos. Others said that he can be very talkative but also has a bright personality and sends positive vibes to everyone.

Beomgyu likes to post silent videos on the group's Twitter account and has this little habit of shaking his hands violently so that his whole phone moves while he's recording, which makes him super endearing. One of his videos also revealed that he and Taehyun attend the same school.

Interestingly, Beomgyu is also the only member to write their name in English on their first posts, which reveals the drawings they each made. He stated that he enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
