ALL ABOUT THE ENHYPEN GROUP

Enhypen is a 7-member male KPOP group (Hee Seung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Niki) formed by Belift Lab label in 2020. The group was formed following a TV show named I-Land , the finalists were chosen to join the group, it was during the show that the group name and its meaning were revealed. Their name comes from the English word “hyphen” which means hyphen, and the meaning behind it is quite simple, just like the hyphen that links the words, limbs link together and grow together . And their fandom is called ENGENE , which was suggested by fans.

They made their official debut on November 30, 2020 with the mini album “Border: Day one”. The group quickly gained popularity, sold more than 300,000 copies of their albums and within a few weeks received their first award.

Since their debut in 2020, the group has made three comebacks , their first comeback was in 2021 with their second mini-album "Border: Carnival", then still in 2021 the group made their second comeback with an album titled "Dimension: Dilemma " which was a great success, more than a million albums sold in a few weeks. And their last comeback was in January 2022 with a new version of their last album which once again was a great success.

Only two years after their debut, the group has already made more than a million sales for its albums, their future is bright.

Yang Jeong Won is the leader of the group, he is a singer and a dancer. He was born on February 9, 2004, he is of Korean nationality. During the show I-Land the public voted mostly for him.
