  The KPOP group BTS has released a letter expressing support for the " Stop Asian Hate " movement, born out of the rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
  
  On March 16, eight people were killed in a series of shootings at three spas or massage parlors in Atlanta, six of whom were Asian women. THE anti-asian hate crimes are on the rise since 2020, rising nearly 150% in that year alone, according to a report by the Center for the Study of Hatred and Extremism.
