Nayeon is a singer and dancer in the KPOP group Twice , an exclusively female group, composed of 9 members , the group is formed by the JYP Entertainment label. At the same time, she is also a model and a lyricist.

She joined the label in 2010 after auditioning, then she was a trainee for five years before debuting in 2015 . In reality she could have joined the label much earlier because when she was a child she participated in a modeling contest and was spotted by the label but her parents refused that she become a model at such a young age, it is for that she passed the auditions in 2010 without telling her parents.
