Stray Kids' official Lightstick was announced on the group's Twitter account on November 16, 2019. It was revealed ahead of their second concert tour titled District 9: Unlock which was held in support of Key: LEVANTER which was released on December 9. 2019. Lightstick Stray Kids was designed by South Korean company 101X and manufactured in China under license from JYP Entertainment . It was first available during the first concert of the tour which took place on November 23, 2019 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.
The Lightstick Stray Kids has a unique design with a moving red and silver compass inside a clear round dome with the name of the band. On the red part of the compass you will see a phrase "You make Stray Kids stay". The lightstick has a white handle with a round button that features the Stray Kids logo . It is called Nachimbong , which is a combination of two Korean words: nachimban (compass) and bong (stick).
The lightstick can produce light in different colors since it is equipped with RGBW LEDs. It can be controlled by a central control button to create special light effects and sophisticated color changes. This is all possible thanks to a pairing function that allows the lightstick to be paired with your seat at the concert. There is currently no official app either on Google Play or App Store, only fan apps which do not work with all official lightsticks. The Stray Kids Lightstick can work in three different modes. lighting , including "On", "Blink" and "Flicker", and is powered - as usual - by 3 AAA alkaline batteries. The batteries are hidden in a special compartment inside the handle. The dimensions of this must-have item are 84 x 95 x 231 mm.
