Wheein is a singer, songwriter and lyricist in Rainbow Bridge World's KPOP group Mamamoo . She is known for her artistic talents, it is she who designed the cover of her mini-album. She is very close to Hwasa because they grew up in the same neighborhood and have known each other since middle school.

Wheein is an only child and grew up with her grandmother because her father was away and her mother worked a lot. Since her mother was an artist, she herself naturally followed this path , before making her debut with the group she hesitated between becoming a painter or a singer.

Their contracts with the label ended in 2021, Hwasa, Moonbyul and Solar renewed their contracts within the agency but Wheein did not, she decided not to renew her contract , however she does not leave the group immediately, the label has reached an agreement with her, so she will participate in events with the other members of the group until 2023, after which she will leave the group.

So we don't know a lot about the future of the group, we know that the other members have renewed their contracts but they can very well continue solo rather than in a group. But it's not because Wheein leaves the label that she also leaves the KPOP industry, indeed she signed a contract with another label in order to pursue her solo career.
