GIDLE KPOP
(G)I-DLE debuted on May 2, 2018, and immediately attracted attention with the release of their music video for Latata, written by Soyeon. She also contributed to the production of the track. The MV currently has over 100 million views on YouTube.
Cube Entertainment - (G)I-DLE's company - has not released many products since the group's debut. Nevertheless, we managed to find some items that you will hopefully find interesting.
GIDLE group members
The group consists of six members - Soyeon, Miyeon, Soojin, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Soyeon is probably the most well-known member as she participated in the first season of the survival show Produce 101 and later competed on the show Unpretty Rapstar. She is a lyricist and has contributed to many of the group's songs. She is also the leader of the group and the main rapper. Miyeon trained for 5 years under YG Entertainment while Soojin prepared to become a member of the girl group Vivivida under DN Entertainment. Yuqi was born in Beijing under the name Song Yu Qi. She is one of the faces of the group. Shuhua was born in Taiwan and is the maknae of (G)I-DLE.
The group officially debuted with the extended play I Am in 2018. They received their first win on music shows with Latata only 20 days after debut. On August 14, the girls returned with their digital single Hann. The song became a hit topping various charts like Genie and Bugs.
On February 26, the group released their second full-length album I Made and the Senorita music video. The song was written and composed (with Big Sancho) by Soyeon.
Official slogan
The first is a slogan - an essential item for any KPop group fan. The slogan size is 800 mm x 200 mm. It features a white (G)I-DLE logo in the middle and the members' names on both sides on a purple background. It comes in a reusable transparent plastic pouch.
2019 Season's Greetings
Initially, I had not planned to cover the year-end greetings in one of the artist pages. I wanted to prepare a special section containing only this type of collectible items. But the absence of any other (G)I-DLE merchandise I could talk about made me change my mind. So here we are. However, there isn't much in the package here, unlike the other group greetings. There is only a wall calendar available. It has 12 pages and you can obviously use it for the 12 months of 2019. The calendar size is 297 mm x 420 mm. It was distributed by 101X.
Interestingly, this year, Cube Entertainment decided to release more modest Christmas greetings for almost all its artists, including Pentagon, CLC, and Yoo Seon Ho. Only BtoB received a full release with a poster, a photobook, greeting cards, and a wall calendar.
2018 UCUBE Cube On Behind Photobook
The third merchandise item I want to cover is the UCUBE Cube On Behind 2018 photobook published to commemorate Cube Entertainment's third family concert held on June 16, 2018, in Seoul. The photobook has 200 pages and covers behind-the-scenes photos taken during the production of recent albums by Cube artists - I Am by (G)I-DLE, Feel'eM by BtoB, Lip & Hip by Hyuna, Spring by Yoo Seon Ho, Demo_02 by Pentagon, Lonely by Jo Kwon, and Free'sm by CLC.
