The official Red Velvet lightstick was revealed on July 23, 2018, and then released on July 24 just before the second Redmare concert took place on August 4 at the Seoul Olympic Handball Gymnasium. The lightstick consists of a white handle and a transparent cupcake-shaped head with a classic "RV" logo inside. It is an official item certified by SM Entertainment. Red Velvet is the company's first girl group to have a lightstick.

The lightstick can operate for 5 hours. Three modes are available: on, flashing, and sparkling. It requires 3 AAA batteries to function. An interesting feature is the ability to connect the item to your smartphone via a Bluetooth connection.

The dimensions of the lightstick are 88.5 x 88.5 x 255 mm and its weight is 152 g. In the package, you will also find a wrist strap and a user manual. The contents are presented in a tube-shaped box. The total weight of the packaging is 680 g.
